DATE: Victorian, c.1890

Striking moonstone, pearl, and black enamel pendant dating from the late Victorian era, circa 1890. The moonstone appears to float within two halos, the first featuring 20 black enamel segments and an outer halo of natural pearls. It's articulated beneath a similarly styled vertical bar and the bail doesn't look unlike an owl; crafted in 10 karat gold throughout suggesting it was made in the USA.
